Here Come the Girls
The Muff-a-Lottas Dance Troupe, named for the famous New Orleans sandwich with a double entendre, embraces and celebrates the history of New Orleans, Louisiana, through style and song. Since 2009, the all-women dance troupe has devoted itself to showcasing singers, songwriters, and producers connected with New Orleans, and we pride ourselves on continuing this tradition.
Inspired by a retro-style theme, the Muff-a-Lottas’ signature features 1950’s and 60’s music and costumes. In particular, we channel the vintage diner waitress persona, including sassy seafoam skirts, billowing crinoline, saddle shoes, and glittery pillbox hats. Many of our dance songs are choreographed with serving trays to emphasize our waitress theme.
All in all, we are a boisterous, fun, energetic group of women who live to embody our theme: “All you can eat!”
